About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing company in the accounting and bookkeeping services sector. They support a wide range of small-to-mid-sized businesses and require a consistent pipeline of skilled bookkeeping professionals to meet ongoing operational demand. They are now seeking a dedicated Sourcing Specialist to identify, evaluate, and engage top accounting talent globally.

Role Overview

The Sourcing Specialist (Accounting & Bookkeeping Talent) will be responsible for owning the top-of-funnel recruitment process for bookkeeping and accounting roles. You will source, attract, and evaluate candidates across global talent markets to ensure a consistent pipeline of qualified professionals. This role is ideal for an organized, proactive recruiter with deep familiarity with bookkeeping profiles, tools, and workflows. You'll partner with internal leadership, refine evaluation processes, and support ongoing hiring needs within a rapidly expanding environment.

Core Responsibilities
  • Source and attract qualified bookkeeping and accounting candidates across multiple channels (job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, niche communities).
  • Conduct initial interviews to assess technical skills, bookkeeping competency, software familiarity, communication skills, and cultural fit.
  • Validate experience with relevant accounting tools (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero).
  • Manage the full sourcing lifecycle: outreach → screening → shortlisting → handoff.
  • Maintain an organized candidate database and ensure accurate tracking for future cycles.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define hiring needs and align with role requirements.
  • Provide weekly pipeline reports, metrics, and updates on progress and bottlenecks.
  • Refine evaluation rubrics, screening frameworks, and interview processes.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience sourcing or recruiting for accounting, bookkeeping, or finance roles.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping workflows, technical profiles, and skill sets.
  • Ability to evaluate candidates for accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
  • Experience running structured interviews and delivering clear assessments.
  • Ability to independently manage a high-volume sourcing pipeline.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with distributed teams.
Must-Haves (Required)
  • Proven experience sourcing accounting or bookkeeping talent.
  • Strong English proficiency (written and spoken).
  • Ability to independently run top-of-funnel sourcing processes.
  • Experience conducting structured screening and candidate assessments.
  • Strong organization, reporting skills, and follow-through.
Nice-to-Haves (Preferred)
  • Experience hiring for global markets (PH, LATAM, EMEA).
  • Familiarity with multiple accounting tools (QuickBooks Online, Xero, Netsuite).
  • Background in remote-first recruiting environments.
