Protein Sourcing Specialist (Brazil/LatAm)

Client Company

Australian multinational in the agribusiness sector, with global operations in proteins and a growing presence in Latin America.

Role Summary

Responsible for leading sourcing and procurement processes for animal proteins, managing supplier relationships and negotiations in Brazil and the region, under an independent contractor (PJ) model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead negotiations and supply contracts for animal proteins.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers in Brazil and Latin America.

  • Map and prospect new commercial partners.

  • Ensure compliance with international standards of quality and governance.

  • Conduct occasional regional travel to engage with suppliers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the protein sector (beef, poultry, or pork).

  • Background in procurement, international purchasing, or trading.

  • Active supplier network and strong market knowledge.

  • Fluent English for international interaction.

Desirable

  • Advanced Spanish for regional interface.

  • Entrepreneurial, autonomous profile with strong negotiation skills.

  • Previous experience in purchasing, export, or supply chain leadership.
