Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic
Head of Sponsorships
to lead our sponsorship and partnership initiatives. This role is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing our sponsorship strategy to drive brand visibility, revenue growth, and mutually beneficial partnerships.
The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven leader with a proven track record in securing and managing high-value sponsorships across various industries and platforms.
- Position based in Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo.
What you'll be doing:
- Strategy Development: Create and execute a comprehensive sponsorship strategy aligned with business goals, brand positioning, and target audience engagement.
- Sales and Business Development: Identify, pitch, and secure new sponsorship deals with potential partners, brands, and organizations.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term, value-driven relationships with existing sponsors and partners to maximize retention and satisfaction.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead all negotiations and manage contractual agreements to ensure compliance and performance delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with brand, events, PR, media and product to deliver integrated campaigns and activations.
- Performance Tracking: Establish KPIs, track the success of sponsorship activities, and prepare regular performance reports and insights.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in sponsorship, partnerships, or brand marketing roles, preferably with proven leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success in securing and managing six-to-seven-figure sponsorship deals.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in sports environment is a plus - football is a key differentiator.
- Network of relevant contacts across industries.
