The role of the Sales Director Civil is to understand the civilian customer's business & needs and to articulate how Thales, as a Group, can help the customers to perform better. With this understanding, the Sales Director Civil delivers profitable order intake based on Thales portfolio and synergies. The role helps Thales to increase its businesses in the civilian market in Brazil, which drives the country economy.

This position is dedicated to the development of civilian markets, mainly in Aerospace, Security (Urban Sec, Airports, Cybersecurity and B2B markets not yet explored by Thales, such as agribusiness, mining and others), and Digital Identity and Security.

The Sales Director Civil will be also responsible for the development of Embraer account (additional opportunities with EVE, Services and new Commercial Aviation Aircraft Family, besides fostering additional partnerships with the company). Additionally, the Sales Director Civil will also focus on Airlines, Drones, Clock Project, SDP São Paulo SSP, Private Network, Cyber, DIS synergies, Light Weapons, among others initiatives with Omnisys and the Design Center. Note: Thales' businesses in the Brazilian civilian market presented a -20% CAGR in the last 2 years.

Finally, the Sales Director Civil will have to monitor closely the performance of our projects in the civilian markets, especially: EVE, Avionics Services, Cyber, etc.

This role requires both technical and sales skills to be able to understand customer needs/requirements in order to assist in the qualification of sales opportunities.
