About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Sourcing Manager to drive the continued growth of our LATAM technical teams. This role involves partnering with Talent Intelligence, Recruiting, and the business to optimize sourcing strategies across the region. The ideal candidate will be passionate about AI and innovation, skilled in building hiring systems, and eager to manage a talented team of sourcers while collaborating with top technical leaders in LATAM.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Leadership and Development: In this pivotal role, you will not just manage, but ignite and cultivate the potential within the LATAM sourcing team. You will be a visionary leader, responsible for inspiring coaching, fostering exponential growth, enabling peak performance, and strategically developing each team member. You'll wear many hats; driver, passenger, traffic director, and mechanic, all in an unwavering effort to optimize the performance and elevate the experience of our exceptional team.
  • Strategic Recommendation: Serve as a subject matter expert on the talent market and top of funnel strategy in LATAM, supported by talent intelligence and recruiting. Develop innovative strategies that help achieve audacious hiring goals in the region, with an eye for continuous improvement and effective stakeholder management. Role model Uber behaviors and the Talent Acquisition craft.
  • Talent Discovery: Collaborate with recruiting and technical leadership to understand hiring priorities. Partner with Talent Intelligence to become a LATAM talent market expert, leveraging tools for optimized workflows. Develop a historical understanding of regional hiring, and work with Recruiting, Sourcing, and function leads to build and deploy effective search strategies, enabling the team with search recommendations and optimizing talent identification and management.
  • Candidate Engagement and Activation: Continuously improve engagement strategies for top talent in LATAM. Leverage and optimize existing systems, and build new ones as needed, to inform and enhance candidate engagement and activation. Ensure sourcers provide an exceptional candidate experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a management role.
  • Experience presenting to Director+ audiences.
  • Proficiency in data storytelling and influencing collaborative outcomes.
  • Fluent English and Portuguese
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Communications, or a related field.
  • Ability to retrieve, contextualize, and present data using tools like Sheets/Excel, Tableau, and GDS.
  • A robust understanding of AI tools and experience building custom projects is a plus.
  • Experience partnering with a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior-level business leaders and seasoned professional candidates.
  • Experience hiring in organizations committed to fostering a diverse workforce.
  • Experience in sourcing, full-cycle recruiting management, talent research, or recruiting in a fast-paced environment; talent intelligence experience is a plus.
