Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement features aligned with business goals
  • Build and maintain scalable and robust Java applications
  • Work with cross-functional teams to create tailored solutions
  • Ensure applications on GCP are secure, reliable, and efficient
  • Write unit tests to ensure software quality
  • Conduct code reviews to uphold coding standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Assist in enhancing team workflows and development processes

Requirements

  • Five plus years of software development experience
  • At least one year of experience leading development teams
  • Strong expertise in Java including Core, Collections, StreamAPI, and Concurrency
  • Experience with JDK17+ and build tools like Maven or Gradle
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Beam and Dataflow including Beam transforms and deployment
  • Knowledge of GCP services such as Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, IAM roles, and security best practices
  • Experience writing unit tests using JUnit and code reviews
  • Fluent Portuguese communication skills
  • English proficiency at B1 level or above

Nice to have

  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases like BigQuery and other stores
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
  • Understanding of data formats including AVRO and Parquet
  • Experience working with XML and XSD
  • Knowledge of Equifax GBP systems and workflows
