The BI Engineer will play a diverse and far-reaching role across organizations providing leadership and influencing adoption of technical solutions, strategies and design patterns across multiple teams and partners within Kimberley-Clark.Lead the implementation, optimization and enhancement of state-of-the-art statistical forecasting models, in conjunction with the vendors, to enable predictive planning and trade promotion management using mathematics, statistical tools and processes.
In This Role, You Will
- Understand the business problem, analyze the data, and define the success criteria
- Work with engineering team and architecture teams for data identification and collection, harmonization, and cleansing for the data analysis and preparation
- Build visualizations based on target audience with the right level of detail and views that would highlight purpose-built-insights
- Architect and implement semantic models to support self-service BI.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reports and dashboards.
- Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.
- Provide training and support to end-users for self-service BI capabilities.
- Integrate Power BI with other data sources and systems.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of BI solutions to align with business needs.
- Develop proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate new capabilities and solutions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and share knowledge with the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Power BI solutions.

Qualifications
In one of our professional roles, you'll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Who you are?
- 5+ years of experience building various interactive visualizations in tools like Power BI, Thoughtspot, Tableau, R, , SAS, Grafana, etc.,
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in working with various stakeholders and understanding business needs in a variety of functions.
- 5+ years of data analysis in SQL, data cleansing and processing
- Proficient and experienced in building graphical representation of the insights and building various visual elements such as graphs, charts, maps and others
- Ability to look ahead to identify opportunities and thrive in a culture of innovation
- Self-starter who can see the big picture, and prioritize your work to make the largest impact on the businesses and customer's vision and requirements
- Proven experience in UX/UI design and business intelligence.
- Proven experience designing and developing Self-Service Data Models
- Export level of experience in DAX and Power Query.
- Excellent communication , business acumen and collaboration skills to manage stakeholders at different levels and culture.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to Lead/nurture/mentor others in the team.
- A can-do attitude in anticipating and resolving problems to help your team to achieve its goals.
