What's the opportunity?

We are looking for a Strategic Operations Manager to join our team and lead the end-to-end operations for Pix in Brazil. This role is ideal for someone who understands the local payments landscape and is passionate about building scalable, high-performing, and compliant operations. You will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, compliance, finance, and customer support to ensure the success of Pix as a key local payment method.

• Own and scale the operational strategy for Pix in Brazil, ensuring performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
• Monitor and analyze key operational metrics, proactively addressing any issues and driving continuous improvement.
• Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding Pix operations.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to prioritize and implement new features or enhancements to Pix-related flows.
• Support incident management and root cause analysis in collaboration with technical and compliance teams.
• Stay up to date with changes in the Brazilian financial system and ensure our operations remain compliant with Central Bank regulations.

• Proven experience in operations, strategy, or payments – preferably within a fintech, bank, or payment service provider.
• Deep understanding of Pix and the Brazilian payments ecosystem.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Experience working with regulatory bodies (e.g., Banco Central do Brasil).
• Familiarity with other local payment methods in LatAm.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.
