Quality Specialist

Job Description
There is an exciting opportunity to join the team as our next Quality Assurance Specialist. This role is accountable for driving the quality agenda and leading implementation and governance of all Quality and Food Safety requirements. The objective of this role is to achieve and maintain a high standard of food safety performance.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Food Science, Engineering or Chemistry is essential
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment or food retail business working in a quality, food safety or process/product development.
• Demonstrated knowledge in auditing Quality Management Systems, Product Quality Metrics, Continuous Improvement;
• Ability to collaborate and influence cross functionally to achieve objectives
• Energy to learn, grow, and develop your skills

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Manage & operate routine Q&FS processes, procedures, and metrics at WET technology.
• Lead Q&FS team in incident investigation & management. Assess root causes and apply effective corrective actions.
• Prepare Q&FS data for analysis, review trends. Inform results and recommendations.
• Act as a product quality custodian & support building a quality culture in unit;
• Be responsible for the deployment and follow up of new guidelines / standards for the BU as a support for Q&FS Manager.
• Understand at high level the Q&FS requirements for Mars and could act as backup for Q&FS Manager;
• Lead Q&FS meetings, sharing learnings from other sites, work on SIRB solutions;
• Participate as quality contact in projects implementations (Engineering, RD, External Laboratories, Innovation, Standard implementation);
• Responsible for the realization of agreed objectives, including short-term objectives to deliver to the site. Drive continuous improvement to improve the quality of our products, processes, performance and profitability - increase RFT.
