Job Responsabilities
● Work with physicians and patients to validate orders through accurate collection of demographic, insurance, and medical justification data.
● Assist in patient care by preparing new prescriptions.
● Communicate with the provider regarding any compliance issues or necessary addendums to a patient's prescription.
● Ensure compliance standards are met on all orders received.
● Perform prior authorization and insurance eligibility checks.Qualifications
● Advanced or Fluent English (essential, training and interactions will be in English).
● Experience in customer service or related activities.
● Previous experience as a pharmacy technician, medical assistant, or surgical scheduling is preferred. Professionals with healthcare experience will be considered an asset.
