Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Software Team Lead, based in Florianópolis, SC, with strong flexibility for remote work.

The Software Team Lead is responsible for leading cross-functional development teams and owning delivery from planning through execution, ensuring predictability, transparency, and on-time outcomes. The role combines technical leadership, Agile delivery ownership, and people leadership, acting as a key bridge between clients, engineers, and internal stakeholders.

A strong people-first leadership approach is essential. The Software Team Lead fosters a safe, collaborative environment where team members are motivated, supported, and continuously developing. This includes proactively handling conflicts, providing constructive feedback, and building trust within the team and with clients.

The role also carries clear accountability for quality and delivery commitments, ensuring engineering excellence, testing discipline, and long-term maintainability—without sacrificing delivery cadence.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and motivate software development teams with a people-first mindset

* Own delivery from planning through execution, ensuring predictable and reliable outcomes

* Facilitate Agile ceremonies and continuously improve team flow and ways of working

* Actively coach team members and support individual and team development

* Identify, address, and resolve conflicts early and constructively

* Collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to align expectations and priorities

* Ensure high-quality deliverables through strong engineering practices, testing, and quality standards

* Coordinate integration efforts across systems, teams, and environments

* Promote transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

* Proven experience leading and motivating cross-functional software teams

* Certified Product Owner (CSPO / PSPO) or Scrum Master (CSM / PSM) is required

* Hands-on experience leading Agile teams, facilitating ceremonies, and improving delivery flow

* Strong delivery ownership mindset, with accountability for commitments and outcomes

* Demonstrated ability to coach people, handle conflicts constructively, and build high-trust teams

* Strong quality mindset, balancing speed with sustainability, testing discipline, and technical excellence

* Solid software development background, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts

* Experience with project planning, execution, and monitoring in complex environments

* Knowledge of system integration processes and methodologies

* Familiarity with modern software tools, frameworks, and cloud technologies

* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

* Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
