Position Overview
Responsible for implementing and supporting data-driven solutions using Power BI to meet business needs. Ensures delivery of high-quality dashboards and insights by configuring and implementing to system specifications. Configure and enhances data reporting and analytics solutions that align with business needs. Ensures solutions are in alignment with the enterprise architecture blueprint, the solutions architecture, and ensures that systems and application designs adhere to standards and policies, leveraging SQL and Databricks where applicable to support advanced analytics.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Designs and develops Power BI reports and dashboards to address business problems, using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis to analyse, design and implementation data-driven solutions for complex business problems.
• Participates in efforts to communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse data and visualization needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (dashboards, data models, wireframes, interface designs).
• Ensures the delivery of high quality Power BI dashboards and reports that meet business needs. Configures, develops, tests, monitors, and supports changes and enhancements to Power BI reports and related analytics tools.
• Takes a broad perspective to identify innovative data reporting and analytics solutions that challenges the business on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.
• Develops and maintains an in-depth knowledge of data products and its correlation to the business' tactical and strategic plans.
• Utilizes industry best practices where relevant to Ball's future.
• Work closely with third-party vendors including software providers, implementation partners, and consultants.
• Assist the team with user acceptance testing requirements for existing and new Power BI reports and related analytics solutions.
• Manage the configuration and setup of Power BI and associated data tools, leveraging SQL and Databricks when beneficial.
• Supports all phases of the analytics development life cycle for Power BI solutions.

What are we looking for?

• Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college level education or work-related experience.
• Development experience implementing Power BI reports and dashboards to support business processes.
• Experience in communicating and collaborating with external and internal customers to analyze data needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (dashboards, data models, wireframes, interface designs).
• Working knowledge of the data analytics principles, practices, and procedures, including data visualization, reporting, and business intelligence tools
• In-depth technical knowledge and expertise in Power BI configuration, design, and implementation.
• Familiarity with SQL for data querying and Databricks for data processing.
• Advanced or fluent English would be a plus.
• MS Office.
• Agile methodology is a differentiator.
