We're looking for a Engineering Strategist Consultant (AI) to join our fast-growing Engineering Strategy Team in the Office of the CTO to help us unleash the potential of every business. This role is responsible for shaping and communicating the strategic vision for engineering and ensuring alignment with the broader organizational investment strategy and goals. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic thought leader and change agent, partnering with senior leaders to define and maintain development strategies, enable effective delivery, capture value, and drive governance.

What you'll own

• Strategic Planning:

Partner with executive leadership, Gen AI team and key stakeholders to define and refine AI strategy at Worldpay; as well as lead use case prioritization framework and process

• Innovation:

Lead horizon scanning and research across engineering.

Drive competitive benchmarking AI enabled SDLC and Non SDLC use cases across Engineering

• Value Capture and Outcome Tracking:

Develop lean, scalable value tracking and executive reporting frameworks and processes that drive accountability and outcomes across engineering

Review and recommend outcomes and metrics strategies for key strategic engineering initiatives.

Partner with Finance and Operations teams to effectively track and report associated benefits

Conduct business performance analysis to identify key insights, identify areas for improvements and drive data data driven decision making

Act as the chief delegate for the Director of Engineering Strategy in related matters, performing ad hoc analysis and executive material creation as needed

Change Agent: Serve as a key change liaison to drive adoption of new initiatives and scale AI literacy across Worldpay

What you bring

• Bachelor's or master's degree from a reputable university
• Previous experience in strategy
• Previous experience in payments, fintech and/or AI is preferred
• Dexterous multitasker ready to jump in to tackle new challenges thoughtfully
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and interact effectively with personnel and management across technical and business functions across Worldpay as well as client/partner organizations
• Strong analytical and presentation skills
• Ability to research, understand, summarize and present
• Fluent English (mandatory)
