As a
MRS Business Development Manager
you will be responsible for operating in highly competitive, dynamic, and relatively mature markets. In this context, a key driver of success will be the ability to counter market saturation by highlighting our added value in quality, market expertise, product knowledge, and service offerings—with a strong focus on delivering innovation to our customers.
The role requires a deep understanding of the Latin American Brand Owner and Retailer landscape, as well as expertise in the VMS/DS category and its associated health benefit strategies, to effectively grow DSM-Firmenich's MRS business.
Another critical success factor will be managing highly complex relationships and navigating the impact of decisions across all internal and external stakeholders along the value chain.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities, generating leads with new and existing prospects (and leading the promotion of the MRS portfolio among existing customers).
- Orchestrate value-added sales management with the sales and commercial team to leverage innovative new MRS offerings throughout Latin America.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Technical Supplies) to co-develop compelling proposals, pitches, and value propositions to win new business.
- Manage the sales pipeline through CRM, ensuring timely follow-up, accurate forecasting, and conversion tracking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to understand customer needs and position customized solutions.
- Manage the entire sales journey, from opportunity identification to negotiation and closing.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to generate insights for innovation and portfolio development.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to increase network and brand visibility.
You Bring
- Experience as a CMO/Toller, with solid commercial and sales skills with Brand Owners and retail sales experience.
- Experience analyzing potential new opportunities and developing business cases based on a critical assessment of the market situation and product details.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, with areas such as regulatory, legal, scientific, technical, market research, commercial, supply chain, purchasing, and communications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to liaise effectively across internal functions and with external partners within an international business setup.
- Hands-on, solution-oriented, and capable of connecting technical, operational, and commercial dots.
