As the LatAm Accountant, you'll be joining a high performance team and report to the LatAm Accounting Manager. You'll play a key role by supporting local accounting operations and shaping the future of the team in the region as part of the revenue accounting team, but you'll also be working closely with the international accounting and tax teams. You'll work closely with our Sales, Sales Finance, Legal, and IT teams to build and drive process improvements, including for our advertising Partners. It's an exciting time to support our fast growing operations, help our team building processes and driving automations. You'll help support our monthly close process as well as serve as POC for our local provider in Brazil and have exposure to LatAm revenue accounting operations.

What You'll Do

• Support LatAm accounting operations
• Own the preparation and review of the monthly close pack for Brazil and related monthly activities (e.g. release AP and tax payments, review accounting-related compliance filings, serve as contact for our Brazil accounting consultants)
• Take ownership of preparing accruals, filings and payments for local tax filings related to AP and AR transactions for LatAm countries
• Support month-end close activities for Brazil, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations
• Maintain and perform relevant SOX controls, as applicable
• Coordinate between XFN partners and accounting team to ensure accuracy and timely support
• Recommend processes changes, systems and workflow automation

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of accounting experience, internet advertising company experience preferred
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong understanding of accounting operations, local regulations and taxes
• Prior experience working with and supporting sales, knowledge of advertising agencies in Brazil is a plus
• Experience with Oracle R12, , Google Suite or similar systems
• Strong Excel skills are a must, experience with Tableau, SQL or similar are a plus
• Public accounting certification and Big 4 or other public accounting experience is preferred
• Strong proficiency in English, Portuguese. Spanish is a plus
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field such as accounting, or equivalent experience

In-Office Requirement Statement

• We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
• This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration at least 1-2 times per week. Therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from Sao Paulo office.
