Job description for Offshore Planner position
Reports To: Offshore Maintenance Superintendent (hierarchically)
Onshore Planning Lead (functionally)
Background: This position will be responsible for the look ahead and ensuring that all planned and corrective maintenance is effectively scheduled to meet requirements considering the activities in the asset plan and associated vendor requirements. They are the owner of 14 and 28 days look ahead.
Pre-hire Qualifications and Experience:
Mechanical or Electrical bachelor's degree which can be substituted by a minimum of 7 years' experience offshore as Technician.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance planning within the oil and gas industries with a minimum of 3 years' offshore experience.
Proficient in the use of CMMS-IFS (or SAP PM, Maximo), Microsoft Project or Primavera will be an advantage, strong understanding of maintenance best practices and knowledge of offshore equipment and systems.
Relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) or equivalent area advantageous.
Proficiency in English at a minimum of B1 level according to the CEFR international standard.
Medically fit according to the Company GEMS 'Health Requirements to Work Offshore' Instruction.
