Along with our partner, we are seeking an Art Director responsible for maintaining our partner's global visual identity across various communication touchpoints. With a focus on digital media, the Art Director leads and conceptualizes high-end campaigns, both internally and externally, while providing support on impactful brand refresh projects. As an expert in Adobe Express, they oversee the creation, rollout, and adoption of templates across global teams, ensuring consistency and usability. They innovate and shape visual guidelines, maintain strict adherence to brand standards, and bring strong creative problem-solving skills to meet challenging custom design needs. In addition, the Art Director directs and mentors designers, ensuring alignment with project vision, managing quality and efficiency, and collaborating with clients and team members to deliver effective outcomes.

Responsibilities

Brand Vertical Role Specifics:

Visual Identity

  • Maintain and update our partner's visual identity website (Amp) to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Advise designers on process and design direction as needed.
  • Review and approve updates before publishing.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Design team for content updates and with Amp platform support contacts as required.

Adobe Express

  • Partner with the project team to support the rollout and growth of Adobe Express across global user groups.
  • Oversee all template-related activity — evaluate requests, guide creation, and ensure brand compliance.
  • Create and maintain guidelines for template use, supporting consistency and usability.
  • Train internal designers, external vendors, and end users on effective template building and use.
  • Monitor software updates, adapting templates and processes as needed.
  • Manage file organization and version control across Amp, Miro, and Loop.

Adobe CC Library Design Template System

  • Maintain and evolve the template system to meet internal and vendor design needs.
  • Work with the template system team of template creators and the broader Brand Design team to review, quality check, and publish templates with proper version control.
  • Manage user access and permissions, ensuring smooth adoption across teams.
  • Coordinate template system update communications for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and support to designers using the template system.

Campaign Support

  • Collaborate across teams to develop and deliver on-brand campaigns.
  • Drive creative ideation and concept development, exploring new ways to bring our partner's visual identity to life across formats and channels.
  • Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
  • Oversee campaigns from concept through execution, ensuring deliverables align with timelines, meet brand standards, and achieve impact.

Brand Activations

  • Support global office environment teams with print and installation requests.
  • Contribute to event design, including holiday campaigns and promotional toolkits.
  • Create visual identity materials/assets for products and solutions.

Brand Design Skills/Design Delivery:

  • Skilled in design/software/tools. Combines design proficiency and leadership skills to create and present design concepts, mood boards, and oversees the final creative output from designers for clients and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates exceptional brand understanding. Leads visual design and artistic direction, ensuring the project's creative vision is realized. Fosters collaborative teamwork to exceed client expectations. Develops systems, guidelines and templates.

Client Results:

  • Effectively manages evolving priorities to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion. Directs and supervises designers to align with project vision, collaborating for project success.

• Leads collaborative efforts with creative team members and internal stakeholders to conceptualize and implement designs for integrated marketing campaigns.

• Researches and analyzes design trends, target audiences, and user needs to help inform the design process and actively contribute to the development of designs, campaigns, guidelines and templates.

• With guidance from senior leaders, leads and mentors Designers through personalized coaching, guidance for professional development, and constructive feedback to enhance skills.

  • Passion for design breakthroughs, client-first mindset, precision in delivery, and deep integrated design expertise; Expertise in UI/UX/Digital capabiliites/Motion all a plus.

  • Familiarity with printing processes (Offset/Digital).

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in visual design/graphic design or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Demonstrated track record as an Art Director within a corporate environment and supported by a diverse design portfolio.
  • Corporate design experience is advantageous.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Expert knowledge in CC Libraries and Adobe Express.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

Nice to have software foundation:

  • Web/interactive (Ceros, Webflow, Word Press, Sharepoint or similar).
  • Animation (After Effects, Adobe Animate).
