Software Engineer (Fintech Engineering) – LATAM


Location:
São Paulo, Brazil (Onsite Tue–Thu)


Duration:
6 months (contract with extension potential)


Compensation:
R$25,000 per month

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, test, and support scalable applications serving Finance and Tax teams globally.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and internal/external UI portals.
  • Integrate with ERP and financial systems to ensure seamless data flow and compliance.
  • Collaborate with global engineering, product, and business teams to align on design, architecture, and delivery.
  • Ensure system reliability through proper QA, testing, and post-launch support.

What We're Looking For

  • 6–8 years
    of experience as a
    Fullstack Software Engineer
    , ideally with a strong
    backend focus
    .
  • Proficiency in Java and Python
    (core languages used in production systems).
  • Strong knowledge of
    Relational Databases
    (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience in
    building RESTful APIs
    and
    developing UI portals
    .
  • Familiarity with
    on-premise or SaaS ERP applications
    (Workday or Oracle; Workday Studio experience a plus).
  • Understanding of
    financial systems or tax domain applications
    .
  • Experience working in
    Agile/Scrum methodologies
    (2-week sprints).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in
    English (fluent required)
    and collaborate effectively across global teams.
