QA Engineer

• Execute functional, regression, and system integration tests
• Design BDD test scenarios and create test plans based on financial-market rules
• Ensure full requirements coverage with end-to-end traceability between scenarios, evidence, and functionalities
• Validate data using SQL, with a strong focus on data integrity, consistency, and cross-system accuracy
• Test and analyze API behavior, including requests, responses, and edge conditions
• Create JIRA tickets with clear descriptions, structured evidence, and proper documentation
• Track defects throughout the lifecycle, perform retesting, and ensure timely resolution
• Manage and document test execution status (Passed, Failed, Blocked, etc.)
• Prepare and deliver Status Reports with key quality metrics
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the full development lifecycle

• Advanced English (spoken and written)
• Advanced knowledge of QA processes within agile development squads
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies: functional, regression, system integration
• Hands-on experience designing BDD test scenarios
• Solid understanding of financial market business rules, including:
  • Pricing, redemptions, and fees
  • Settlements
  • Corporate actions
  • Reconciliations
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis
• Knowledge of API architecture and hands-on experience with API testing
• Strong focus on performance, data integrity, and analytical evaluation
• Proven ability to maintain full traceability from requirements through test coverage
• Experience creating structured, well-documented evidence-backed JIRA tickets
• Experience with end-to-end defect management
• Experience managing test scenarios, execution status, and structured reporting
• Experience preparing and delivering quality metrics in status reports
• Understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Clear, objective communication with both technical and business stakeholders
• Strong analytical mindset with a high attention to detail
• Proactivity and a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to challenge requirements and anticipate testing impacts
• Collaboration, maturity, and accountability within squad environments
