We are on the lookout for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Cypress and Appium to join our talented team. In this role, you will be responsible for automating end-to-end testing for our web and mobile applications, ensuring the highest standards of quality and functionality.

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to build robust automated test frameworks, design test scripts, and identify areas for automation opportunities. Your focus will be on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes while minimizing bugs and improving user experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and Appium
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and create effective test strategies
  • Identify automation opportunities and implement solutions for web and mobile testing
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure software releases meet quality standards
  • Document testing processes, results, and defects
  • Continuously improve the test automation framework and testing processes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging testing tools

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer, with a strong focus on Cypress and Appium
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
  • Experience with JavaScript and developing test scripts for web applications
  • Familiarity with mobile automation testing and frameworks
  • Ability to analyze complex software systems and troubleshoot issues
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality assurance
  • Experience working in Agile environments is a plus
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices is a plus
