As LSD Solution Design Manager for Indirect Tax in Latin America, you'll be at the forefront of a global digital transformation program spanning over 65 countries. You'll help shape how Novartis leverages technology to streamline tax determination, compliance, and reporting—making a real difference in how we operate. Major ResponsibilitiesDesign tax determination rules and functionalities for indirect tax enginesDefine features for new Indirect Tax applications supporting VAT, GST, and WHT complianceSupport development, testing, and deployment of tax-related applicationsCollaborate with global and local tax experts to align solutions with business needsEnsure design decisions meet Novartis standards for performance, quality, and securityCoordinate with project leads to deliver work on time, within scope and budgetCreate and maintain documentation, training, and educational materials for tax processesEssential RequirementsUniversity degree in a relevant fieldExperience in indirect tax, financial accounting, and tax operations in multinational companiesProject management training or certification is desirableStrong communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenFamiliarity with SAP and tax determination engines preferredProven ability to collaborate across functions and drive integrated solutions
