A/P – A/R Specialist
Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Reports To: Chief Finance Officer
POSITION SUMMARY
Under general supervision, general responsibility includes performing daily accounts receivable, accounts payable, and monthly bank reconciliations. The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
On a daily basis, review, verify, and reconcile daily fixed route data through GFI software, and prepare daily fixed route ridership reports.
Processing of all accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile various bank accounts on a monthly basis.
Daily tracking of all deposits from fare boxes and pass sales at each facility (BTC, Reading Main Office, QSS, and Lancaster Main Office).
Identifying and implementing auditing systems and procedures to ensure data integrity.
Assist in month-end, quarter-end and year-end close process as requested.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Business or Accounting or equivalent training and/or experience.
- Experience with Sage Accounting products a plus.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills to effectively interface with all levels of management and staff.
- Demonstrated computer skills (word processing and spreadsheet applications).
- Well organized and self-directed who is a team player.
