Role Overview

We're hiring our first dedicated AI Data Engineer to partner with our growing Solutions Architecture team. You'll be the go-to expert for crafting, transforming, and operationalizing demo-ready datasets that fuel our most complex customer environments.

You'll work hand-in-hand with Technical SAs (based in Brazil) and Customer-facing SAs (based globally) to bring product stories to life through clean, smart data. You'll unblock implementation roadblocks, speed up delivery, and enable better customer storytelling.

This is a builder role, not a maintenance role. You'll help define what great looks like and establish the blueprint for future team growth.

What You'll Do Data Creation & Transformation

• Design and build high-quality, fictional datasets across industries and personas
• Transform structured inputs (e.g., CSVs, JSON, Postgres etc.,) into usable tables and mock user behavior
• Translate technical specs into production-ready data for each customer implementation

Technical Delivery

• Collaborate with Technical SAs to build and QA environments
• Own the most complex and reusable data transformations across all implementations
• Set up systems that scale data work across customers without duplicating effort

Workflow Optimization

• Maintain and improve internal tools/scripts for dataset generation and transformation
• Identify opportunities to templatize common needs and speed up implementation velocity
• Partner with Engineering and Product teams as needed to expand automation capabilities

Team Collaboration

• Join grooming, standups, or async updates with Technical SAs and CE leads
• Provide guidance and unblock Technical SAs on advanced data modeling issues
• Ensure each SA pod is shipping environments with best in class data stories

Who You Are

• You're resourceful, structured, and detail-obsessed
• You love solving technical puzzles and designing clean, elegant data systems
• You work well with ambiguity and are excited to shape a new role in a fast-moving startup
• You communicate clearly across technical and non-technical teams

Preferred Experience

• 3–6 years in Data Engineering, DataOps, Solutions Data, or equivalent roles
• Strong skills in data transformation using Python, SQL, or scripting tools
• Experience working with APIs, automation platforms, and data formats (CSV, JSON, etc.)
• Familiarity with GTM tools (CRM, support, marketing platforms) or sandbox/test environments
• Bonus: Experience using AI for synthetic data generation
• Bonus: Experience in pre-sales or implementation engineering environments
