Hybrid Projects Specialist

S/He will have an accredited University Graduate Degree (preferably master's level or equivalent) in one or more relevant fields (e.g., Hybrid Systems Engineering, etc.).
She/he will have at least ten (10) years of experience and be involved in the design and implementation of at least three (3) projects of solar power generation plants with hybrid systems (diesel / batteries / solar) including Feasibility Studies, Preliminary Designs, and the preparation of the Tender File. One at less the project should have a value of at least US $ 1,000,000 and should be ideally located in Africa or in conditions similar.
S/He will have a significant experience working in similar business environments, including sub-Saharan Africa and Lusophone countries. Previous work experience in São Tomé and Principe in similar assignments would be an advantage (e.g., developing hybrid system energy strategic plans, operational Frameworks, processes, KPIs and practices of Solar Sector development at national, regional, or local scale).
Familiarity with government and multilateral funded operations is mandatory. The proposed candidate shall have demonstrated relevant experience in promoting stakeholder engagement (senior staff government decision makers), integrating reports from different specialists, providing quality control, and effectively managing cross sector professional team She must bate excellent research and communication skills in both written and verbal English and Portuguese, and strong interpersonal skills.
