Role: Principal Consultant – Network & Cloud Strategy

Location: Remote, with occasional on-site visits in São Paulo, Brazil.

Overview

We are seeking a Principal Consultant with 5+ years in network strategy consulting and 7+ years in large-scale network design and implementation. The consultant will act as both a strategic advisor and technical project lead, delivering multinational transformation projects across multi-vendor technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead consulting engagements, workshops, and strategic assessments (technical, business, and financial).
  • Develop current state analysis, solution alternatives, recommendations, and roadmaps.
  • Provide design, architecture, and integration for large-scale networking and cloud environments.
  • Drive migration planning, implementation leadership, and governance.
  • Support presales activities (proposals, SOWs, presentations) to expand consulting practice in LATAM/APAC.
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice development.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/Engineering.
  • Certifications: CCIE is strongly preferred (CCNP/CISSP is also acceptable with proven experience).
  • Languages: Fluent Portuguese and English.
  • Strong leadership, documentation, financial analysis, and presentation skills.
  • Experience leading complex consulting engagements in global environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Network strategy consulting, including financial analysis.
  • Deep expertise in WAN/SD-WAN, MPLS, LAN/WiFi, Data Centre (Cisco ACI, SDN), Cloud (AWS, Azure), and SASE solutions.
  • Security design (Cisco ASA, CheckPoint, Fortinet) and load balancing (F5).
  • Experience with multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, VMware, Extreme Networks, Velocloud, etc.).
  • Visio design/diagramming and production of professional deliverables.
  • Positive, collaborative, and self-directed leadership style.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R$15, R$20,000.00 per month
