Payroll Specialist
Ebury Bank - São Paulo Office - 4 days in the office and 1 day of home office per week
We are looking to broaden our Global Payroll team with a new team member to cover our Ebury LATAM offices in; São Paulo, Mexico and Chile.
About The Role
- End to end processing of bi-monthly and monthly payrolls as part of a small team.
- Analysis and documentation of each countries control framework and payroll processing guidance.
- Ad hoc project support.
- Manage relationships with various stakeholders (i.e., Finance, HR, etc.) and the payroll provider to ensure end-to-end process excellence.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies
- Performing reconciliations and audit tasks for monthly payrolls.
- Stay up to date with local payroll regulations.
- Support Finance teams with month-end close and reporting activities.
- Regularly review payroll processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Attend to all escalated and critical payroll related issues on a timely basis.
Candidate Profile
- At least 3 years' experience of processing payroll across multiple countries.
- Experience of working with a global payroll provider/system
- Experience in working with manual processes undergoing automation transformation
- Process documentation and control framework building/writing
- Ability to take ownership of payroll processes;
- Problem solving mindset & positive attitude;
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Excellent language communications skills in English and Portuguese
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup and other formulas)
