Responsibilities

  • Monitor infrastructure ticketing queues
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues
  • Coordinate communication and resolution activities
  • Work on incidents and provide solutions or propose workarounds
  • Document incident closures
  • Perform root cause analysis reports and contribute to permanent solution plans
  • Support development teams in deploying products on cloud infrastructure
  • Assist development teams in troubleshooting application flow issues related to infrastructure
  • Plan scheduled activities including stakeholder communication
  • Document chronological activities and resolution summaries
  • Manage stakeholder and internal communications including calls
  • Track KPI/performance for infrastructure and create root cause analysis reports
  • Ensure root cause analysis and action plans prevent recurring incidents
  • Meet all infrastructure-related SLAs and KPIs including uptime, availability, and security

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Site Reliability Engineering and DevOps with 3+ years in similar roles
  • Advanced knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure
  • Proven skills in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python
  • Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools, specifically Terraform
  • Solid understanding of computer networks and network security principles
  • Experience with Windows Server administration and IT security practices
  • Proven ability to manage cloud infrastructure provisioning and operations
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate across teams and stakeholders
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent self-organization abilities
  • University degree in computer science or related field
  • Fluency in written and spoken English at B2+ level

Nice to have

  • Experience with Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Knowledge of SAP system environments and language technology tools
  • German language skills or other additional languages
  • Experience with security compliance and data residency regulations
  • Certification in AWS or Kubernetes administration
