Company Description The Procurement and Facilities Manager is responsible for leading all procurement operations and facilities management across LatAm (Brazil and Mexico), ensuring alignment with organizational strategies, budget requirements, and event delivery timelines. This role strategically manages indirect purchasing categories with emphasis on contracting services for events, trade shows, and conferences, while overseeing office-related facilities contracts. The position involves conducting complex negotiations, identifying cost optimization opportunities, and developing strong supplier partnerships. The manager will implement sustainable procurement practices, ensure compliance with ESG principles, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven analysis. Additionally, they will build a high-performing procurement culture focused on cross-functional collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence to support the company's growth objectives. Job Description Reporting to the COO LatAm, this role leads strategic procurement for indirect categories and facilities management, focusing on operational excellence, cost optimization, and sustainability. The position requires expertise in supplier relationship management across diverse categories, from multinational corporations to small businesses. The ideal candidate will drive cross-functional collaboration, ensure compliance with ESG principles, and deliver innovative solutions while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced events industry environment. Advanced negotiation skills and data-driven decision-making are essential to achieve business objectives and support organizational growth.Main duties and responsibilities>PROCUREMENT & FACILITIESDevelop and execute purchasing strategies for assigned categories, focusing on operational efficiency, service quality, cost optimization, sustainability targets, and delivery excellencePrepare and manage procurement budgets aligned with financial goalsMonitor key performance indicators to ensure adherence to established goals and alignment with corporate guidelinesTrack and report on savings and procurement performance metricsActively manage and continuously develop the supplier base through contractual and commercial negotiations involving deadlines, supply conditions, service levels, and innovation opportunitiesIdentify and qualify new suppliers to strengthen competitiveness and diversity in the supply base, with focus on cost efficiency, sustainability, and service excellenceEnsure company-wide process compliance (including supplier selection, RFQ/RFP, negotiation, PO, contract, renewal, development, and issue resolution)Maintain compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and applicable ESG principlesCommunicate purchasing policies effectively to vendors and internal stakeholdersPartner with Accounting and Finance to support month-end close processes and improve expense accountingChampion sustainable sourcing practices and collaborate with suppliers to promote environmentally friendly materials and processesMaintain direct interface with areas such as Commercial, Operations, Finance, IT, HR, Marketing, Content, and other internal teams, ensuring steady results within budgetary limits> LEADERSHIPBuild a collaborative, high-performing culture with a "can-do" attitude, focused on cross-functional teamwork, accountability, and resultsLead multiple projects, demands, and deadlines in a diverse and scattered categories environmentBring innovative solutions to issues with suppliers ranging from big multinational companies to small family-owned businessesThrive in high-pressure environments with a data-driven, results-oriented mindsetLead change management initiatives supporting procurement process evolution during company growthDemonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Qualifications QUALIFICATIONSComplete Higher Education in Administration, Engineering, Economics, Logistics, or related areasPost-graduation in Supplier Development, Purchasing Management and/or CSCP (or equivalent) certifications will be an advantagePrevious experience in indirect purchasing in the events sector and in MRO categories, facilities products, construction, and othersDemonstrated knowledge of procurement processes, Supplier Relationship Management, and Strategic Sourcing techniquesExperience in negotiating multiple types of contracts, from large contracts to umbrella agreements to spot dealsExperience in Supplier Qualification and Supplier Development, working in quality, innovation, and long-term improvement plansResults-oriented mindset with strong accountability focus, emphasis on collaborative problem-solvingTECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:Advanced Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)Market BSMs (Coupa or similar is a plus)Knowledge in contract management and cost reduction methodologiesKnowledge in market analysis, supplier benchmarking, and procurement workflowsQuality Control and Development, Sustainability for Suppliers, Partnership and Alliances techniquesStrong negotiation and supplier management capabilitiesBudget management and financial analysis expertiseCross-functional collaboration and communication skillsProcess improvement and change management experienceKnowledge of sustainability principles and ESG requirementsProject management expertise across diverse procurement categories Additional InformationAdvanced English (intermediate Spanish is highly desirable)
