Allow us to introduce ourselves.

At dss+, we are not just your average operations consulting firm; we are implementers and change makers. Our passion lies in engaging organisations to craft resilient and sustainable business, guiding them through transformational changes in safety, risk and resilience and through their energy transition. We take the complex world of risk and sustainability and translate it into actionable roadmaps that work with our clients' business. We implement, working side-by-side with our clients to deliver real, tangible results.

dss+ services fall into three core areas—operational risk management, operational excellence and sustainability—each bolstered by learning, development and culture change solutions and digital technologies. Teams around the globe work with clients in metals and mining, chemicals, oil and gas, power and utilities, agriculture, food and beverage, industrial and manufacturing, and private equity.

The ideal candidate is someone who combines structured thinking with creativity, has experience in consulting or corporate environments, and is eager to contribute with data-driven insights, process improvement, and strategic discussions. Additionally, knowledge in project management technologies, such as Microsoft Project and others, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support process structuring and strategic decision-making for clients, developing frameworks and recommendations.
  • Analyze data, processes, and risks to generate meaningful insights and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in client discussions, contributing to problem identification and solution development.
  • Develop presentations, reports, and storytelling materials, ensuring clarity and impact in the communication of insights.
  • Work closely with teams to track project progress, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure deliverables meet deadlines.
  • Utilize tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI to manipulate and visualize data, supporting decision-making.
  • Contribute to risk management discussions, structuring frameworks to guide clients in identifying critical aspects of operational and process risks.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies and analytical tools, continuously improving data interpretation and business intelligence capabilities.

Key Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in roles such as consulting, market intelligence, strategic planning (S&OP), process structuring, or business analytics.
  • Background in engineering, business administration, economics, or related fields.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI (knowledge of additional data analytics tools is a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, build logical reasoning, and synthesize information into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with clients and stakeholders at various levels.
  • Interest in industrial operations, process management, and strategic business development.
  • Fluent English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with data analytics, risk management, or operational efficiency projects.
  • Familiarity with modern analytical tools and digital solutions.
