About the Role

We are looking for a
SEO Specialist based in Portugal
to join our international marketing team. You will be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies to improve website visibility, drive organic traffic, and boost conversions across Portuguese and global markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research and implement on-page and off-page optimization.
  • Optimize website content, structure, and metadata to improve search rankings.
  • Monitor SEO performance using mainstream tools.
  • Build and manage high-quality backlink strategies.
  • Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and industry SEO trends.
  • Collaborate with content, product, and marketing teams to align SEO with business goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Google search algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools.
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese (written & spoken).
  • Knowledge of local Portuguese digital ecosystem and search behaviors.
  • Familiarity with technical SEO (site speed, structured data, sitemaps).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with e-commerce or international SEO projects.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms.
  • Knowledge of content marketing and link-building strategies.
