Responsibilities
- Create and perform tests to identify software problems
- Analyze and describe bugs and errors found during tests
- Document results of tests for product and software development team
- Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
- Works together with engineering to help delivering expected behavior for applications
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test coverage plans and cases
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
Required Skills
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance of 4 years, in-depth technical support (tier 2 or above) or similar function
- Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Knowledge and understanding of web services testing, http protocols and transactional formats (JSON)
- API related tools (Postman, Insomnia, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- English and Portuguese
Desired Skills
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
- Software programming languages and development
- Experience with web service technology like XML, REST, SOAP
- Experience with QA in DAG (Directed Acyclic Graph) workflows or similar software applications
- Being able to skillfully query relational and non-relational databases
- Experience with performance and/or security testing
- Experience in Cypress
