What you will do:
- Governance of the Cost Leadership strategy at Caterpillar Brazil in partnership with leadership and the product group.
- Enterprise alignment of the cost strategy, providing directional leadership for cross-functional teams, including Business, Purchasing, Engineering, new product introduction leaders, and other relevant business areas.
- Coordinate and prioritize initiatives and opportunities to achieve the cost strategy, aligning operational goals and financial targets.
- Leadership of the cost team providing support and financial recommendations for NPI projects, cost analysis of current products, and investment analyses, ensuring the correct application of financial tools in the analyses, according to corporate guidelines.
What You Have - Skills:
Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Cost-Benefit Analysis: Knowledge of the principles and tools used in cost-benefit analysis; ability to analyze the purpose and scope of a producer, product, process, or project in terms of cost and benefits.

- Bachelor's degree
- Pre-advanced English
