Responsabilities

  • Understand various types of performance testing, such as load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
  • Analyze test results to identify system bottlenecks, instability, and degradation, creating detailed performance test reports and dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues across application layers, databases, APIs, and infrastructure.
  • Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential issues.
  • Work closely with developers, QA engineers, SREs, DevOps professionals, and product managers, both internally and externally.
  • Apply testing processes and techniques, including functional, structural, integration, and system testing.
  • Install, maintain, and use software testing tools.
  • Develop and define standards such as test plans, performance baselines, benchmark metrics, and testing methodologies.
  • Document software defects using bug-tracking systems (e.g., Jira) and report issues to developers.

What We're Looking For

  • Great English skills - you'll communicate with international teams
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
  • Experience with performance testing frameworks (e.g., Locust, JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, K6 or similar).
  • Experience implementing and configuring Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools such as New Relic, Datadog, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.
  • Knowledge of databases such as DynamoDB, SQL, Cassandra, or other database technologies.
  • Experience in languages such as: Python, Java, .Net, C#, Javascript and others.
