The Cloud Engineer works closely with a team focused on spreading the Cloud culture, as well as implementing process improvements that have direct technicians across all squads.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire application lifecycle, including automation and observability.
  • Administer domain management of cloud providers.
  • Utilize and maintain continuous delivery pipeline (CI/CD) tools.
  • Work with various operating systems as part of infrastructure and deployment management.
  • Promote and disseminate DevOps/Cloud culture across the organization.
  • Communicate clearly and assertively with diverse stakeholders such as engineers, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate strong teaching and explanatory skills to support collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • Communication skills: Experience in disseminating the DevOps culture, integrating with development squads, and dialoguing with squad leaders and stakeholders.
  • Cloud provider expertise: Microsoft Azure.
  • Continuous Integration/Delivery: Azure DevOps.
  • Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS).
  • Operating Systems: Expertise in Linux OS and its main distributions, and Windows.
  • Versioning: Git, Azure Repos.
  • Observability: Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, or equivalents.
  • Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform.
