TRANSPORTATION ANALYST - VISION - Extrema/MG or São Paulo/SP
Assists the routes definition and picking scheme planning to serve customers. Performs daily deliveries analysis and is responsible to measure carrier's performance and lead initiatives together carrier and customer service to mitigate SLA impacts. Ensure that all freight costs are correct before proceeding with payment and provides support for transportation project in general.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs the Dashboards updates from the transportation area, and does interface with various groups, including Customer Service, Sales Team, Logistics Operator, Risk Manager and Transporter to ensure punctual delivery of products; Monitor the demands of urgent orders and coordinate shipment with the logistics operator and carrier. Monitor the reverse flow of orders and ensure the arrival of volumes to the CD.
Track the release of orders and vehicles in a timely manner, in accordance with risk management rules, to comply with customer and J&J shipping standards; Monitor and maintain frequent contact with carriers to ensure that demands and SLAs are being met as per the current agreement/contracts.Interface with the Customer Service team to perform contact with customers about late deliveries (keep Dashboard updated); Develop action plans for late deliveries. Ensure the back-up of proof of delivery signed by customers according to Internal Controls rules. Execute all processes related to Transport related to the claims (communicate the areas, credit issue to the affected Sales Invoice, monitor the reimbursement of the carrier).Ensure the receipt/control of the CTEs, and monitor the submission of files for accounting in the Inspector; Check the pre-invoices sent by the carriers, and create/follow the purchase order in the System, until payment is made. Perform analysis and reports related to Transport activities, in the Revenue Recognition process in the quarterly months (Cut-Off).
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent. It is preferred that the job holder holds a qualification in Business Administration or Logistics.
Generally Requires 2-4 Years Work Experience in a Logistic Role
Previous experience Office Package mainly with excel is essential.
Language: English basic / intermediary.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES AND AFFILIATIONS
Comprehensive knowledge of Transportation routine. Analytics and good communication skill. Good problem-solving skills.
