A global commerce company is seeking a Financial Planning Marketing professional to lead the planning, execution, and financial analysis of marketing initiatives. This hybrid role sits at the intersection of Marketing and FP&A, with a strong focus on project coordination, budget control, and continuous performance optimization.

Role Objective

Manage strategic marketing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget—while providing key financial insights to support informed, results-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate key marketing projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and cross-team dependencies are met.

  • Partner with FP&A to lead monthly marketing budget planning and financial close processes.

  • Monitor spend, campaign performance, and ROI—identifying variances and recommending optimizations.

  • Support marketing leads in developing business cases and aligning resources effectively.

  • Generate regular reports for senior leadership on marketing performance and budget utilization.

  • Implement tools and processes to improve visibility, efficiency, and accountability across teams.

  • Support monthly financial activities, including spend reconciliation and accruals.

Required Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 3 years of experience in Project Management, FP&A, or Marketing Operations.

  • Solid knowledge of marketing metrics, financial analysis, and budget management.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets; knowledge of Python and SQL is a plus.

  • Analytical, data-driven mindset with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
