NOV designs, manufactures and markets advanced subsea flexible pipe systems. With production sites in Denmark and Brazil and a global engineering network, we combine technical depth with global execution. As part of our Extrusion Process Team, you will work with skilled colleagues to support, develop, and optimize our manufacturing capabilities.

Cooperation across the globe
In this role, you will serve as a key contributor to process development, new equipment implementation, and root cause analysis, and as a technical advisor for other stakeholders. You will play a central part in stabilizing production and ensuring our technical standards support operational excellence.

As part of the "Extrusion Process Team", your ideas and achievements will be visible on both our flexible pipe factories in Brazil and Denmark and you are willing to travel across the Atlantic ocean when required (0-2 times per year).

It is expected that you are good at communication and planning your day-to-day work to ensure that you inside normal working hours can stay engaged with two factories that run 24/7 production in different time zones.

You are expected to cooperate with other people on the team to ensure that the best decisions are made, and optimized solutions are selected. This both covers HSE perspectives, R&D (New Product Development) and optimization of existing portfolio/process. Consequently, you are expected to engage and cooperate with people from all other departments and educational levels.

Many of your decisions will be based on facts that you gather by engaging and validating things in real life and consequently you are expected not to spend all working hours in front of a desk.

You find motivation in finishing projects that you initiate and never give up, even when things look difficult.

Your background and profile

  • You probably have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or similar)
  • You have solid knowledge within machine operation and process stability, and have previous experience with extrusion processes, ideally within continuous production (e.g., pipe or tape extrusion)
  • You have solid operational experience with manufacturing processes
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Danish and/or Portuguese are a plus)
  • You thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and are structured in your approach to problem-solving and documentation
