Position Summary

Engineer responsible for supporting and leading technical and operational activities in an industrial environment with international operations. This role has a strategic focus on managing relationships with global suppliers and customers, as well as overseeing import and export processes. Fluency in English is essential for negotiations, reporting, and participation in global meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor import and export processes, ensuring compliance with international regulations and standards.
  • Participate in engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the industrial environment.
  • Conduct technical and commercial meetings and negotiations with international partners.
  • Prepare reports, technical documents, and presentations in both English and Portuguese.
  • Provide technical support to production, logistics, and quality departments regarding foreign trade operations.
  • Review and analyze technical documents and contracts in English to ensure full compliance and understanding.
  • Facilitate integration between internal teams and external partners, promoting efficiency in global processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (with active professional registration).
  • Proven experience in international industrial companies.
  • Solid background in import and export operations.
  • Fluent English required, including technical terminology.
  • Proficiency in IT tools and technical software (advanced Excel, ERP systems, CAD, etc.).
  • Knowledge of international technical standards and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Intermediate or advanced Spanish.
  • Postgraduate studies in International Trade, Industrial Management, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of international logistics and customs regulations.
