Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a 3D Systems Administrator (Mid-Level) to join our Minerals and Metals Business line in the in Belo Horizonte office.
About The Role
- Strategically plan process improvement proposals to be implemented;
- Design and implement integrations between BIM systems and other systems involved in the process;
- Develop BIM Execution Plans (BEP) to be used throughout the project lifecycle;
- Manage templates and standards to be applied by the discipline across projects;
- Configure environments, sheets, and templates for projects developed using BIM platforms;
- Monitor project progress daily through federated models, addressing any deviations from established procedures;
- Support the necessary processes for conducting internal and external design review meetings;
- Act as a knowledge multiplier through internal training sessions and capability-building programs;
- Provide support to the engineering team, ensuring proper use of systems and procedures;
- Coordinate solutions for issues related to BIM processes in the projects;
- Assist the IT team with the implementation of new BIM software versions and updates;
- Evaluate new software and technologies related to BIM processes to optimize existing workflows;
- Create and review (when necessary) BIM content including materials, services, and libraries related to the Mechanical and Piping Systems discipline;
- Lead continuous improvement analysis of BIM libraries and material databases for the Mechanical and Piping Systems discipline;
- Collaborate with the piping team to review and validate components and specifications before registration.
About You
- Experience in multidisciplinary engineering projects;
- Experience in developing workflows for interoperability between BIM systems;
- Experience with activities related to the use of BIM in multidisciplinary projects;
- Desirable: knowledge of programming concepts and databases;
- Strong knowledge of industrial piping projects;
- Solid experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud and its collaboration modules;
- Proficient in Autodesk Navisworks, Recap, Plant 3D, Spec Editor, and Report Creator.
