Senior Financial Analyst (Pessoa Jurídica) - Temporary - Remote

The Role

We are looking for a highly qualified Senior Financial Analyst to temporarily replace our Finance Manager during maternity leave. This professional will handle financial, tax, accounting, HR, audit, and administrative routines, with daily communication with our international team primarily in English. The contract type will be a temporary Pessoa Juridica (PJ) Independent Contractor with an anticipated start date of November 2025 and anticipated duration of approx. 10 months. Hours per week will be variable with the most hours required February - July 2026.

Specific Responsibilities Include

  • Communicate regularly with the international team, clients, and suppliers (in Portuguese and English)
  • Manage financial operations:
    • Accounts payable and receivable
    • Cash flow and bank control
    • Invoicing and payroll review
  • Handle tax and accounting routines:
    • Service tax compliance (ISS, IRRF, PIS/COFINS, etc.)
    • Journal entries and reconciliation
    • Balance sheet review and support to the external accounting firm
  • Coordinate and Lead Year-End Close and Audit for Brazilian Entity
  • Support administrative processes:
    • Maintain company documentation
    • Assist in HR routines (admission/dismissal paperwork, vacation tracking)

Professional Qualifications Required

  • Advanced English (written and spoken)
  • Proven experience in finance/accounting roles (minimum 5 years)
  • Solid understanding of tax compliance for service companies
  • Experience with annual audits, both internal and external
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Familiarity with HR processes and administrative routines
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
  • Valid Brazilian Social Security Number (CPF)
  • Nice to Have: Experience in multinational or remote-first environments

Work Location

This position is fully remote. Ideal candidates are located within Brazil and speak English as well as Brazilian Portuguese.

Compensation

The role is paid on an hourly basis and is competitive within market.
