About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Contract Manager (Legal)
to take full ownership of our third-party vendor contracts. This operational role requires a pragmatic, hands-on professional who can quickly standardize our contracting process and mitigate commercial risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Standardization:
    Assess the current state of vendor agreements (approx external contractors) and develop several streamlined, legally sound contract templates for routine operational and marketing expenditures
  • Template Ownership:
    Create and manage a library of standardized contract documents, ensuring ease of use for internal departments (e.g., Marketing, Operations) to significantly reduce time-to-signature
  • Contract Lifecycle Management:
    Manage the end-to-end lifecycle for new and existing contracts, including drafting, execution, revisions, amendments, and renewals
  • Risk Mitigation:
    Conduct initial risk assessments on existing and proposed contracts, identifying crucial clauses and necessary adjustments before execution
  • Cross-Functional Support:
    Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams (especially Marketing) to provide guidance on contract preparation and compliance
  • Internal Alignment:
    Ensure all regional contract needs and changes are aligned with the new directorate structure being established in each territory
  • Legal Collaboration:
    Collaborate with the centralized legal team for review of complex international agreements and high-risk contracts

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Contract Manager, Commercial Manager, Lawyer, Legal Counsel or similar role focused on high-volume contract administration
  • Experience working within the iGaming or betting sector is highly preferred
  • Strong, demonstrable knowledge and hands-on experience in contract management, drafting, and interpretation
  • Proven ability to implement new processes and templates that improve efficiency and significantly speed up internal workflows
  • Comfortable working autonomously and serving as the primary commercial/contractual expert within the local team
  • Fluent English and Brazilian Portuguese are mandatory
