About the team:

Guided Buying team is responsible for feature development and maintenance of the Guided Buying cloud-based application. The application enables users to perform daily searches and purchases, ensuring these purchases follow proper corporate policies and approvals. GB also allows users to manage approvals, quotes, receipts and invoices related to the purchases.

What you'll do:

D- evelop and maintain the Java codes in the Guided Buying microservice.
W- hen dealing with customer issues, working directly with Ariba Customer Supports and customer engineers to reproduce issues. Gathering system logs to investigate customer issues.
D- evelop and maintain UI codes used in Guided Buying app, UI codes include Javascript, Angular, Angular JS and html.
D- evelop and maintain Guided Buying backend database with HANA database.
C- ollaborate closely within a large engineering team to ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks with high quality.
W- ork within agile development practices, architecture governance, and quality-by-design principles

W

hat you'll bring:

K

  • nowledge in UI technologies: JavaScript runtime), Angular, CSS, SAPUI5
    H- ands-on experience in software development (SaaS)
    H- ands-on experience in Java and web application development.
    H- ands-on experience with CI/CD tooling, Git/GitHub workflows
    H- ands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI frameworks for building intelligent features and developer tools
    S- ound understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks

ice to have:

  • xperience with Cloud Architecture
