Position Description
The Operations Associate – Strategic Initiatives Support role provides comprehensive coordination, logistical support, and project assistance for strategic initiatives that drive RSM US-El Salvador's growth, culture, and employee engagement. This role focuses on execution excellence, follow-up management, and operational efficiency to support operations team in delivering high-impact programs. The Operations Associate – Strategic Initiatives Support reports directly to the Operations Senior Associate – Strategic Initiatives and collaborates with multiple stakeholders: Service Line Leaders, HR, TA, Marketing, Content Providers, and various program leaders.
Responsibilities
Activities Coordination and Logistics
- Coordinate and execute logistical aspects of strategic initiatives activities and programs.
- Support team buildings coordination across service lines.
- Support campus programs tasks, including RSM Community Connects, Trainee Program, Internship experience on demand.
- Follow up on internship experience tasks: welcome sessions, monthly workshops and interns' day celebration plan support.
- Assist RSM Corporate celebrations such as RSM Connect, AHM, RSM World Day
- Assist RSM Culture related activities across Culture Framework programs: Recognition and appreciation, Eco initiatives, Stewardship, Culture of Inclusion, and others.
- Coordinate with Location Services team to communicate venue selections, catering selection, and any other internal input request.
- Attend strategic initiative planning meetings and be responsible for note taking and action items follow-up
Content and Communications Support
- Coordinate social media content creation schedule and calendar management.
- Organize employee participation in content creation including video participation and photography.
- Coordinate with Operations Senior Associate for any internal content need including office digital and physical content.
- Assist with specific recruitment marketing materials requests and RSM US Careers Site updates.
Project Follow-up and Tracking
- Provide systematic follow-up and tracking support for all strategic initiatives
- Support monitoring for program timelines, deliverables and stakeholder completion of assigned tasks.
- Maintain programs tracking systems and provide regular status updates, including calendars and scheduling coordination.
- Support with inputs the creation of documentation, best practices and process improvement reports and/or templates.
- Assist with meeting coordination, agenda preparation and action items tracking.
- Support post-event reports and feedback summaries.
Skills and Experience
A successful candidate will have excellent organizational and coordination skills with strong attention to detail. The candidate must be proactive, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and comfortable working with diverse stakeholders. They should demonstrate strong follow-up capabilities, creative problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Communications, Marketing, Event Management, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3-4 years of experience in project coordination, event management, or administrative support roles
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote)
- Familiarity with project management tools and social media platforms
- Proficiency written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to work independently
- Experience in event planning, coordination, or logistics preferred
- Familiarity with content creation and social media management preferred
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong follow-up and tracking capabilities
- Creative thinking and adaptability to changing requirements
- Professional ability to represent the organization effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong quality control mindset
- Experience working with external vendors and service providers preferred
- High understanding of project management methodologies
- Customer service orientation and positive attitude
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (intermediate to advanced written and oral English skills)
- Willingness to learn and grow within the organization
