About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer to join our team in São Paulo, focusing on ensuring the quality and reliability of our local payment products. The ideal candidate will have experience in software testing, particularly in payment or financial systems, and a strong understanding of the Mexican market.

Key Responsibilities

-Perform end-to-end testing of payment products (iOS/Android clients + server-side) for the Mexican market

-Execute tests covering core scenarios: payments, refunds, top-ups, transfers, etc.

-Conduct localization testing, including collection and validation of local payment data

-Perform edge-case testing: network fluctuations, device compatibility, time zones, etc.

-Document test results, track defects, and assist developers in issue resolution

-Reproduce and verify reported production issues; support troubleshooting

Requirements

-2+ years of software testing experience (mobile/client or server-side)

-Familiarity with Mexican payment systems (credit/debit cards, SPEI, CoDi, etc.)

-Hands-on experience with testing tools:

-Mobile: ADB, Android Studio, Xcode

-Server/API: Postman, JMeter

-Basic log analysis and problem-solving skills

-MUST have Experience in payment/financial product testing

-Fluent in English

-Adaptable to fast-paced iterations; meticulous and patient

Ideal Background

-Experience with payment gateways or financial technology

-Knowledge of Mexican banking regulations and payment standards

-Technical understanding of API testing and mobile app validation
