You'll join a serial acquirer focused on growing SaaS businesses across Brazil and Latin America. They're a NASDAQ-listed company with partnerships at NVIDIA, Oracle, Anthropic, and OpenAI, which gives their team access to training and tools most finance professionals don't get.

The company has been transitioning away from traditional spreadsheet-heavy processes. They use AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude and automation platforms like n8n to make financial analysis faster and more accurate. The team is practical about adopting new tools. They won't change something just because it's trendy, but they will if it makes the work better.

This is a hybrid role based in São Paulo. You'll work from the office Tuesday through Thursday and remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

About this role's impact

You'll conduct in-depth financial analysis on acquisition targets to evaluate whether deals are competitive and fit the company's investment criteria. You'll receive qualified opportunities from the M&A Analyst, analyze the financials using AI tools to accelerate your work, and provide recommendations to the leadership team. Your analysis directly influences which SaaS businesses the company acquires across Latin America.

Your mission

Evaluate acquisition opportunities through detailed financial analysis. Use AI tools to analyze deal data faster and more thoroughly than traditional methods. Provide clear recommendations on deal competitiveness and strategic fit so leadership can make informed acquisition decisions.

What makes you a fit

• You have 3+ years of FP&A experience with a background in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• You live in São Paulo and can work from the office Tuesday through Thursday
• You're fluent in Portuguese and comfortable reading technical materials in English
• You've worked at a SaaS, fintech, or tech company and understand recurring revenue models
• You're comfortable using traditional tools like Excel, SQL, or Power BI alongside AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or automation platforms like n8n

Position Details

• Salary:
  $2,000 - $2,500 USD per month
• Location:
  Hybrid - São Paulo, Brazil
• Schedule:
• In Office:
  Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (7am to 4pm EST)
• Remote:
  Monday and Friday (7am to 4pm EST)
• Type:
  Full-time, 40 hours per week

• Analyze financial statements and metrics for potential acquisition targets
• Use AI tools to automate data extraction and analysis
• Evaluate deal competitiveness and identify risks

Weekly:

• Collaborate with the M&A Analyst on qualified opportunities in the pipeline
• Present analysis and recommendations to leadership
• Participate in training sessions on new AI tools and methods

Monthly:

• Support multiple deal evaluations simultaneously
• Refine analysis methods and automation workflows
• Contribute to improving how the team evaluates deals

As you grow:

• Take on more complex deal analysis with higher strategic importance
• Mentor junior team members on AI-enhanced financial analysis
• Influence how the company evaluates and structures acquisitions
