Job Title: Remote Consultant - Investment Operations Analyst (100% Work From Home)
Location: Remote from Latin America
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: $2,000 USD/month, paid through bank transfer
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
Job Overview:
Our client is amongst the largest investors in the world aiming to deliver consistently above-market returns, while increasing visibility, representation, and access for all underrepresented communities in venture capital. They co-invest with select venture capital leads in companies resolved on building diverse and inclusive teams. They seek to drive top returns while influencing the ecosystem and representing the LGBTQ community, its allies, and a diverse group of investors within the capital stack of its portfolio companies.Responsibilities:
The Investment Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring that Investment processes and procedures are followed and up to date on a daily basis. Project work may also be assigned as needed. The Operations Analyst reports to the Investment Operations Associate/Manager/Director.
In order to fulfill this responsibility, you will be expected to complete the following activities:
Assist operations team in the end to end investment process
Dealing with portfolio companiesCollecting funds and documents from investorsReviewing legal documentationAnalyzing, entering, and auditing data into our systemCalculation of fees / investment amountsTracking and prioritizing multiple tasks/investors simultaneouslyAssisting with monthly / quarterly financial reportsReviewing updates from portfolio companies and summarizing key information for leadershipWork with transfer agents and legal counsels to understand the restrictionsCrafting notes to investors detailing the nuances of exitsTracking and reporting to senior management on all restricted securities exitsEnsuring exits are handled in a timely fashionWorking with tax operations team to verify, consolidate, and audit database information to ensure accuracy and completeness for tax reportingWorking with exits operations team to process, handle, and ensure all required data is gathered for publishing and reporting purposes
Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies:
Advanced English language skills (speaking, writing, reading).Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google sheets.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Strong Organizational skills.Excellent interpersonal communication skills (written & verbal).Propensity to take initiative.Background in finance, math, business, science, engineering, or a related field.Previous experience working in a similar role1-2 prior work experience with US company is preferred.Secure Internet – High Speed for video meetingsCompany Standards for Secure Personal PC – Must have 16 G memory for proper connection to company systems.
