About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead our finance function at our Brazilian factory in Laguna. This role is critical for ensuring tax compliance, financial accuracy, cost control, ERP optimization, and building a high-performing finance team. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on, onsite environment and has a strong background in Brazilian accounting standards and manufacturing finance.

What you'll Do

  • Brazilian Tax & Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with ICMS, IPI, IRPJ, CSLL, and other local tax regulations; lead tax planning and risk mitigation initiatives.
  • Financial Management:
    Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, bank reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing.
  • Factory Cost Accounting:
    Implement cost accumulation systems for materials, labor, and overhead; conduct cost variance analysis to improve profitability.
  • ERP Leadership:
    Lead ERP system implementation (Infor LN preferred), define finance module requirements, manage UAT, and train the finance team.
  • Team Leadership:
    Manage, mentor, and develop the Brazilian finance team; drive process improvements and maintain internal controls.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with production, inventory, and sales teams to provide actionable financial insights.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/CA/MBA preferred.
  • Valid CRC registration issued by the Brazilian Accounting Council.
  • 7–10 years of finance experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven knowledge of Brazilian tax regulations and manufacturing cost accounting.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Infor LN preferred) and leading ERP projects.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English.
  • Willing and able to work onsite at our Laguna factory.
