Working as a core member of our team in Brazil, you will undertake Marine Warranty Surveys (MWS) on behalf of our clients in the offshore Oil & Gas sectors.

What will you be doing?

  • Attend and conduct Marine Warranty Surveys (MWS) on offshore installation vessels. This could be either offshore or at a client site.
  • Coordinate and carry out inspections and consultancy assignments as required.
  • Write and review survey reports and ensuring that they are sent to our clients in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that you maintain a billable utilisation on client assignments of 60%.

What are we looking for?

  • Qualified Master Mariner (STCW II/2) or Chief Engineer (STCW III/2), or an Engineer with proven experience of undertaking MWS surveys and consultancy assignments.
  • Minimum 7 years' relevant professional experience.
  • Knowledge of lifting and transport operations, offshore mooring, and subsea installation of flexible and rigid lines.
  • Knowledge. of industry standards and codes and the ability to apply standards.
  • Proficient in English (Intermediate Level).

Further Information:

This position will be based at our office in Rio de Janeiro.

You must have the right to live and work in Brazil.

The job holder will be expected to undertake onshore and offshore client assignments. Flexibility will be required with working hours.
