Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Buyer located in São José, SC. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials and products required for the company's operations. Daily tasks will include evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing purchase orders, and maintaining inventory levels. The Buyer will work closely with various departments to forecast needs and ensure a continuous supply of materials. Additionally, the role involves analyzing market trends, ensuring compliance with company policies, and managing supplier relationships to achieve cost-effectiveness and high quality.

Qualifications

  • Experience in sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain management
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Proficiency in inventory management and demand forecasting
  • Knowledge of market trends and supplier evaluation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure
  • Experience with procurement software and ERP systems is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
