What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain our core Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
• Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to support the deployment of .NET and Angular applications.
• Manage containerized services using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes (AKS).
• Implement and refine the company's observability stack, including monitoring, logging, and alerting, with tools like Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Automate operational tasks, security controls, and compliance reporting to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Manage and scale our database infrastructure, specifically Azure Database for MySQL, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Analyze and optimize cloud resource usage to manage spend effectively, implementing cost-saving measures without sacrificing performance or reliability.
• Strengthen the security posture across the cloud infrastructure, networks, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance reliability, performance, and overall developer experience.
• Incorporate AI into the DevOps workflow for tasks such as IaC generation, monitoring analysis, pipeline optimization, and automation scripting.

What You've Done (Must-Have Qualifications)

• 5–8+ years of professional experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure role.
• Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure services, including App Service, AKS, VNet, Container Apps, and Key Vault.
• Strong, hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly with Terraform.
• Proven experience building and managing complex CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, especially for deploying .NET applications.
• Production experience with containerization (Container Apps) and container orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS).
• Experience implementing and managing observability tools for monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell or Bash.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud cost management, including resource optimization, budget alerting, and leveraging tools like Azure Cost Management.
• Experience securing cloud environments in regulated contexts (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, CJIS) and applying best practices for network security, identity management, and secrets management.
• A history of incorporating AI tools into your DevOps workflow for automation, analysis, or code generation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with development teams.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• A background in software development, especially with C#.NET.
• Experience with advanced Kubernetes concepts, such as service mesh or advanced ingress control.
• Familiarity with security automation tools, such as static or dynamic analysis within pipelines.
• Expertise in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Domain experience in fintech, govtech, or other highly regulated industries.
• Relevant Azure certifications.

Work Setup

This is a remote position. The company operates predominantly in the Eastern and Central time zones, and collaboration is expected during these core hours.
